Fresh: First of all, it’s not a movement, it’s a nation. We represent your everyday person going through real life situations, regardless of your race, sex or creed.
What is the meaning behind Grae Jungle?
Fresh: Well, we take Grae from the saying "gray area". You know like, it’s not exactly black or exactly white, it’s gray. When it comes to our genre of music, we wouldn't categorize ourselves in one particular area. It’s a mixture, [interlocking fingers] so we are in a gray area with that. So what's in your CD player or iPod?
Eazy: We listen to so much music. The collections of discographies are crazy. One day it could be The Beatles the next day it could be Jeezy or The Dream. So it all depends on the mood. But the most important thing is that we just don't listen, we study. If I hear a hot song, I am going to break it apart and say to myself, "What makes this a hot song?" Once you find the formula to making quality records then you can add your own flavor and apply it to your music.
Explain the concept Life is A Movie?
Eazy: The title speaks for itself. Life is a movie. On the project we put a different spin on the songs to help the audience paint a mental picture as they listen. Each song has a meaning and paints a different picture. That’s why we went with that theme and chose to market the product the way we did. The album is an audio motion picture. Just close your eyes, open your ears, and enjoy [smiles and reclines in chair].
When can we expect to see the show live?
Fresh: We are preparing for an album release party in late August. Trust me it is going to be an experience for everyone in attendance.
